I thought it might be a good idea to go over some of the basics in recent posts and now I’ve come to the Rolex President Bracelet. Did you know this bracelet made such a dramatic impact that people started calling the watch for which the bracelet was designed the Rolex President? When the watch was worn by President Lyndon B. Johnson, the name fit even more.
A nickname is nothing new for a Rolex. Just ask Batman and the Hulk. However, to this day, almost seventy years since its release, people believe a gold Day-Date is a Rolex model called the President. It’s a belief nobody has been able to shake. The President bracelet was created in 1956 for the Day-Date watch, which was a groundbreaking design that displayed both the date and day of the week. The Day-Date has been worn by many famous people, including
former US presidents, actors, and musicians.
The Rolex President bracelet is a distinctive bracelet known for its luxury, comfort, and elegant design. The President bracelet is only available in 18k gold or platinum. This, of course, highlights the dress-watch tilt of the bracelet. In addition, it’s only available on the Rolex Day-Date and certain precious metal versions of the Lady Datejust. The exclusivity makes it more appealing as well, doesn’t it?
The President bracelet has a unique look that's a mix between the Oyster and Jubilee bracelets. It features three semi-circular links, rounded exterior surfaces, and a concealed clasp. The President bracelet is comfortable to wear and includes ceramic inserts in the links to make it more flexible and durable.
If you’re looking for a pre-owned Rolex in San Diego, why not give me a call. If I don’t have the watch in stock, I can probably locate it for you. So, reach out. You’ll be glad you did.
